Roman Lakes Leisure Park Deep in the beautiful lower reaches of the Goyt Valley, nestling on the edge of the Peak District, south of Manchester, lies the picturesque and tranquil Roman Lakes Leisure Park. For almost 100 years these lakes that once supplied water to the long-disappeared Samuel Oldknow's Mellor Mill cotton mill is now the venue for a variety of recreational and sporting activities.
